Maggie Valley Fire & Rescue (MVF&R) has been providing the community with excellent fire protection since 1959. The agency, officially classified as a volunteer fire department, provides twenty-four hour fire coverage. Services offered by Maggie Valley Fire & Rescue include fire, medical, rescue and hazardous material assistance. The Agency is certified as a Medium Level Rescue Agency.
